Hi everyone! I’m sorry I’ve been MIA. I’ve gotten pretty busy with life and haven’t really gotten the chance to stick to a more consistent editorial calendar. I promise, I’ll attempt to keep up with a regular posting schedule moving forward 🙂
Today’s post is short and sweet. I just wanted to give you guys a little update on what’s been keeping me busy these past few weeks. Of course, there were other events thrown into the mix too … But I just felt like sharing with y’all the highlights, as to not bore you with a super duper long post. You know what I mean?! Haha.
So here were go!
I finally finished my “certificate” from UCLA Extension just this month. I started the Entrepreneurial Series on January 2016 when I was around 7 months pregnant. It was perfect because it was a flexible program which gave me the option to study at my own pace. I always wanted to pursue my MBA, so I wanted to make sure that I didn’t have too much educational gap in between my bachelor and master degrees. Which leads me to my next goal ….
As soon as I finished my program at UCLA Extension, the next week I began my MBA program! Pictured are my school supplies that I use on a regular basis, in addition to my laptop and textbooks. Yes, I have finally drew up the courage I needed to pursue higher education. I believe it is what’s best for not only mine, but Yuna’s future too. I am an advocate of lifelong learning, so I’m pretty sure that even after I graduate with my MBA, I am still going to continue taking classes here and there.
Yuna finally turned 1 year old last week! Omg … I cannot express how happy I am that I was able to survive the first year of motherhood/parenting. Of course, this wouldn’t have happened if it weren’t for the unconditional love and unending support I receive from my family. I am so blessed that Yuna is happy, secure, adventurous, and growing properly mentally/emotionally/physically! We celebrated the day of her actual birthday at John’s Incredible Pizza and that following weekend, we threw her a Disney Princess themed party! I love you Yuna bear! 🙂

I’m sure all my friends and family know what a big fan of Korean dramas I am! I love the romance genre, so that’s probably my number 1 reason why I watch so much K-dramas. I love Goblin: The Lonely and Great God in particular because Gong Yoo is in it. He is my forever bias! 🙂 Ever since The 1st Shop of Coffee Prince, I have been a loyal fan of his. I binged watched this drama and finished it in less than a week!!! If you ever need K-drama recommendations, let me know! 🙂

Ever since I Can Do That started airing recently on TFC, I’ve enjoyed watching this show every weekend! I find it hilarious and amusing with how these contestants/Filipino celebrities can be quite versatile with their talents. Ohhh and not to mention, I am totally a fan of the Daniel Matsunaga and Arci Munoz “tandem/chemistry”. Dan-dan is super duper cute too … I hope they end up together! 🙂
If you and I are friends on SnapChat, you’re familiar with this one! I know this might sound childish but I have always found stress relief in coloring! Coloring happens to be one of my favorite activities ever since I was little 🙂 Whenever I have some down time and I’m feeling a little anxious, I just bust this baby out and color away!!! I find the adult coloring books quite confusing and tedious, so I’ve purchased this easy, sweet tooth inducing, and enjoyable coloring book on Amazon! Isn’t it so kawaii? 🙂
Anyway, I noticed exercise isn’t featured on here. I should probably find time for that since I am now 1 year postpartum and I feel like I am waaaaaayyy overdue in getting rid of my remaining baby weight. I still have 30+++ pounds to go (I’m exaggerating).
I hope you’re enjoying your week so far and stay tuned for my next post. Until next time!
