Journaling Keeps Me Sane

Hi there! If you are close to me, you know that I love writing. Ever since I can remember, writing has always come natural for me. I am an avid list-maker (from to do’s, to buy’s,  and to go’s), as well as, a planner enthusiast and journal(er), is that even a word? Haha.

My first ever diary was when I was in elementary school. I remember having one of those diaries that came with a lock and key, so that no one else can read it! By middle school, I’ve gotten the hang of journaling and to this day, I still keep one.

Today’s post is regarding a journal that I recently bought at TJ Maxx. It caught my attention because it was different from how I would normally keep a journal. By that I mean, this journal gives you varying prompts/ideas to write about every week for a year. That doesn’t sound like too much work, right? I hope not, because it’s totally doable!

***Disclaimer: I bought this journal with my own money and I am not being sponsored or paid to mention this product in here.***

This journal is broken down to 4 seasons and 52 lists, 1 for every week in a year. Depending on the season, the theme of the prompts differ. That’s a good thing, because it keeps your creative juices flowing. The idea is that every week, there’s a prompt and you answer it and try your best to keep yourself motivated to live your best life. The prompts are fun, creative, and really gets you thinking. It’s great for anyone who is looking to start journaling and for people who may already be veterans when it comes to journaling.

If you haven’t figured it out by now, journaling is a good habit to have. Find a system that works for you and stick with it (whether its bullet journaling, list making, collecting quotes that speak to you, etc). The world we live in today can be very stressful and sometimes we can lose sight of our aspirations or things that make us happy, so it’s nice to keep a journal and have something to refer back to in case we need a booster when we’re feeling stuck and uninspired.  In a nutshell, it’s a great stress reliever, keeps you sane, and your mind sharp!

Give it a shot and see for yourself how your outlook in life begins to shift and you become more productive. Once you get hooked to journaling, you won’t ever look back!

Yours truly,

Ana
