San Diego, Ca: Japanese Friendship Garden

Hi all! It’s been awhile since my last post. I’ve been quite busy with life. Also, Yuna got sick last week and then shortly after I did too. We’re feeling a lot better now. We still have runny noses and a little bit of coughing, but nothing alarming 🙂

Anyway, one of my favorite things to do with Yuna bear is to go for walks. I try to take Yuna out for walks here and there, so we can get some fresh air and spend some good ol’ quality time together.

Recently, we went for a walk at the Japanese Friendship Garden. We checked out the Kawaii exhibition, just for funsies! The JFG is actually one of my favorite places at Balboa Park … I just love walking down the garden paths, it makes me feel so serene. It’s too bad the cherry blossom trees were not in season, I’m sure Yuna would’ve really enjoyed seeing that.

Yuna loved the coy pond. She kept laughing and trying to reach for the fishes. I think it reminded her of our aquarium at home. She was probably thinking that the fishes looked familiar, but a lot bigger!

The next time we head over to Balboa Park, we’re going to check out the other museums, etc. We didn’t have that much time to enjoy the whole park, since we had to go some place else after checking out the JFG.

Thank you to those who regularly read my blog! It means a lot to me. Enjoy your day guys. Until next time …

Yours truly,
